Compliment yourself and give yourself permission to be proud of your accomplishments. Reward yourself by doing nice things for yourself, Whether that means taking yourself out to dinner or buying yourself a new thing that makes you feel good. Treat yourself nicely.
Do work you love, Even if you make less money, even if you disappoint others. Working a job for which you have no passion is betraying yourself. Nobody can love themselves while they subject themselves to hours of uninspiring work every week. If it isn’t practical to leave your current line of work just yet, start planning your escape now.
Respect other people. Respect their skills, virtues, thoughts and faults too. Let them be who they are. Find the value in others, and you will see it in yourself. Respect the world around you; everything has the right to be here. Learn to flow with the universe
Don’t rely on ineffective coping mechanisms; instead find healthy outlets for yourself. Subduing your feelings and ignoring the problem will never augur well for you in the long run. Make lists, write things out, consider the possibilities, weigh pros and cons, Write down what and why you can’t change a situation and the reasons why you may be happy this happened in the future. Try to see the other side of the coin.
Learn to prioritize; don’t try to do everything at once. You won’t do anything thoroughly if you try to it all one day. Take it one step at a time. Find your happy place. It can be a state of mind or a room in your house. Find it, and go there. Find other thoughts to fill your head. You won’t just stop thinking about what hurts unless you find other things to think about. Find new things to think about.
Embrace your feelings, the good and the bad. Resisting bad ones will not help, it will hurt. Train yourself to acknowledge your feelings, consider what they’re trying to tell you, and let them pass. Know that there is no right way to live. Success is subjective. You cannot follow someone else’s road map. There is no right or wrong way to do things. By accepting this, you start to realize that your life is perfect and beautiful, just not in the ways you falsely believe it should be.
