Worry. Nobody else expects you to be able to control things that are out of your control. So it doesn’t make sense to expect that from yourself, so let go of the worry, and focus your energy on the things you can control.

Excuses. Excuses arise from not having clear priorities, goals, and desires. There will always be things vying for your precious time. It’s time to stop making excuses and tackle whatever it is you need to or simply show yourself some kind acceptance if what your priorities are and what you want them to be don’t line up.

Resentment. It’s easy to bear a grudge on family members who don’t support your endeavors but resentment, like worry, is a misplaced negative energy. Resenting others is sometimes an indirect way of feeling sorry for yourself. At the end of the day, it’s your opinion that matters most. Just do your best work, and stop waiting for other people’s approval

Stale ideas. Let it go. Sometimes when an idea just isn’t working, it’s time to scrap it and get down to the drawing board.

Regret. If you regret some of the decisions you made in the past, don’t be so hard on yourself. At that time, you did your best with the knowledge that you had. At that time, you did your best with the experience that you had. Some of your decisions might of been coping skills and a time when you didn’t know what you know today. If you were to make those decisions with the wisdom you have now, you would choose differently. So give yourself a break and forgive yourself. Time and experience has a wonderful way to make us realize that we prosper, grow and learn to make better choices today, for ourselves and those we care for.

Pride. If you’re too wrapped up in your own brilliance to accept advice, you won’t be able to grow. Learn to accept a little help on your journey and leave the heavy beast of pride behind.

Fear. Fear and self-doubt can be deadly it can leave you crippled and paralyzed afraid of making critical decisions in your life. Learn to face your fears be it of rejection, criticism or failure.
